- once we have accumulated enough names in an age group for a team, we will contact all parents to see if anyone would like to coach.
- What kind of footwear does my child need to play indoor soccer?
JunglePlex’s two un-boarded athletic fields are outfitted with SrintTurf which is a thick synthetic grass. Players may wear either traditional outdoor soccer cleats or indoor soccer shoes (outdoor are preferred for optimum traction). JunglePlex’s one boarded field is outfitted with traditional artificial turf. Players must wear indoor soccer shoes.
- How many players do I need for a team?
Indoor soccer requires 5 field players and a goalie. Most teams carry 11 to 14 players.
- Are there going to be separate sub-divisions within the open division?
Divisions depend upon the skill level and number of registered teams. With large registrations within a particular age group we will create subdivisions of A,B and/or C.
- What if I want to book practice time for my team?
Practice time will be made available for teams after December 12, 2006. The cost to rent either of the 2 un-boarded fields is $125/hour, while the cost to rent the boarded field is $100/ hour. Teams may also split the cost and share a field.
- What if my child does not play soccer, are there things for him/her to do?
Absolutely! Your child can enjoy the arcade, giant JungleLand Play Structure, martial arts and or JungleKids (children's activity center).
- Is there any time my child can walk in and play a pick up game of soccer?
Yes, our after school program is available from 3-5, Mondays thru Thursday. Your child can come on in, play in the arcade, eat in the café, play on the JungleLand Play Structure, and pay a nominal fee to play a supervised pick up game of either soccer, dodge ball or wiffle ball.
